Can we make it last week of September?
Mine is still asleep!

No, it's not.
Just not growing at all, suddenly we have 8-10C every night, so I guess winter turned around and is back.
As soon as it awakes, I'll let the forum know.

Was taking some pitures yesterday. And although it is still not full swing growing season in Brazil, i would like to share a little update of my tree as it is now. (I think the updates should be at least once a year but could be more frequent. It is nice if we do a coordinated update round too. This year maybe in a month or so?)

The route I took was...To rotate to the extreme and create a raft-style bonsai out of my tree. I put it flat in the container, with all branches on one side removed, and all branches on the other side, selected, and wired up.

After the initial work late june

Prune once in August, removed the wires and letting the leladers now shoor for the rest of the year. I suspect it will go dormant in a few weeks anyway.

Pretty radical!
It looks good, I am curious about the results.
Thank you for showing your progress.

Clever idea. I'm still looking at mine with its 90 degree straight curve and wonder what on earth I'm going to do with it (except the obvious - trunk chop it).
Can't steal this idea anymore. Pity.
