Me too... but I've read the contrary as well... that's why I'm a little confused :)

As said.. I do not have a lot of experience with white pines. As they can be tricky in sub-optimal conditions make sure you get advice from people who know the species well. Ideally someone who has kept them for a few years in similar climate. Maybe find someone near you who grows them? Italy has some amazing bonsai artists. Look for escuale de arte.

On the internet anyone is an expert..
