I had cut it back a lot, because time to that stage and looking after it was not in my favour. However the tree developed nicely.

The reason why I cut the leaves in half is to trigger new leaves, if animals eating on a plant they drive new leaves. Beside this I learned from Indonesians that this also responds to smaller leaves, this is only half of what i experienced. as soon you let the tree grows it grows the same size leaves as before. However it is working if one keep doing it. This at least i have found out on some other plants, I will post them at one stage.
I have cut back the tree now and will wire him as soon time permits me to do so. (work is in the way).
