I last watered my trees in mid October, they are getting to the point of being a bit dry. I should be able to use my new watering lance that I bought at the show in Saulieu for the first time. We have had three days dry for the first time in over four months.

Yesterday. I noticed the leaves of my small cherry tree were drooping a bit. I think it's the same here, I haven't watered since october or so.
Yes, when I looked this morning I decided that I would have to water. The watering lance I bought is excellent. Tried to sit out and do some pruning this afternoon, but gave up as the wind is very cold. Maybe tomorrow a bit warmer.
I started watering some 1-2 weeks ago I am afraid.
Hitting the 20C last week. And the -4 tonight probably. At freesing point now already in the garden. So I am keeping everything wet at the moment.
I have been watering all winter and spring. We have weeks with no rain and then rain every day. I gave had deciduous trees lose leaves in December and others growing leaves in January. Absolutely crazy weather. Tshirt one day and close to freezing the next.
We have had the wettest winter I can remember, storms and floods. Some of my trees were budding in January. I started re potting in January which I have never done before. I think we only had about 10 frosty mornings all winter. Now it has got drier and colder at the wrong time.
That's good, mine are looking good too. I am hoping to do some more pruning today as the wind is not so bad. Tried yesterday but gave up. Just hope we don't get frosts now as the larch are not fully open yet.
