I'm Eve. I came here to see if there is any hope for a little tree my dad saved from the garbage at work one day. (He works on a college campus and a student threw away the tree).
He took care of it for a while, but its sort of fallen on my shoulders lol. I think I've identified it as a Snow Rose/Serissa.

I am Sandy, I am brand new to the Bonsai World. I want to get my wife a bonsai tree for our 35th wedding anniversary.
I live in Ohio and have decided on getting a trained 12-year-old Chinese Elm tree. The problem I am having there are no good retail establishments near me and I don't want to be taken advantage of by an online supplier. Can someone make a suggestion on which ones might be best? Or if not are there any I should stay away from? I have found a couple of suppliers in Florida that seem to have good stock...I am just very unsure of myself at this point.

Previously I have found a lot of joy in outdoor gardening, but as I now live in a place with no opportunity for a garden, I have been looking into creating a tropical terrarium featuring a Fukien bonsai. I'm aware that indoor cultivation of bonsai can be especially tricky, so I'm hoping to find successful growers to learn from!

Hello everyone, my name is Ron and I am in the middle of the U.S. I have only ever seen a couple of Bonsai in person and was drawn to their uniqueness and beauty! I am in my 50s and have decided that I would like to spend the rest of my life trying my hand at this art form. I just recently purchased my first very small juniper and am eager to get started!
