My name is Kevin and I'm 19 years old. I became interested in the subject of bonsai about 6 months ago when my Thyme plant needed pruned. Since then I've read several books and researched many different styles and techniques.

I'm currently going to college for a degree in Horticulture Technology and am hoping one day to be able to bring the art of Bonsai to more people in my area.

Among my other interests are tending my raised bed vegetable garden, and running 10miles per week.

I also hope to become president. Although you'll have to wait for my 2039 bid for office.

my name is Ivan i live in Croatia it's a little country east of Italy.I am 12 years old and i am in possession of 2 bonsai trees well actually prebonsai, i started a week ago and it is a lot more complicated then i thought.

There are quite a lot of other people in Croatia sharing the same hobby, do you know any bonsai clubs or nurseries near to you? Always good to have some professionals near and shops to buy material!

there are clubs but there arent no shops however you can find some bonsai tools in a random gardening store

Hello Everyone

Im Leigh im 34 yrs old and live in Birmingham England. I first discovered Bonsai after visiting Herons Bonsai in Surrey.I hvae read and collected many books and have a small amount of trees in my garden.I have a Chinese Juniper, Euro Hornbeam , Chinese Elm, a couple of Acers and a Stone pine and black pine.All of my trees are fairly young and im going to plant a few and other trees in the ground this year as well as (tryin) to take some airlayers of branches of a large acer i have in my garden which i will post the pics of the progression.I find this forum so useful and look forward to comunicating with u all in the future.
